Sports PASSION Month of August
The month of August had our Class Chairpersons, Sports Champions and Sports and Dance CCA Leaders especially busy. From putting together the inspiration corner, to leading their classes in JYians Mass Dance practices, and to encouraging their classes to actively participate in Juying Steps Challenge, it was a positive learning experience for our student leaders, as they enable greater cohesion among peers and contributed to a more positive class culture!
Earth Day 2021, in conjunction with Nature PASSION (LLP) Month, by JYSC Garden Ambassadors and LLP Champions
The JYSC Garden Ambassadors and LLP Champions had put together a series of activities in April to promote awareness of our environment and efforts we can take to make our Earth a better place to live in.
Project Nudging, by LLP Champions
Using the Nudge Theory to nudge students to be cognizant of the new switches, several LLP Champions designed a small card for every classrooms to influence their peers to turn off all lights and fans before exiting the classroom.
Nanyang Sayang Engagement, a VIA project by JYSC and Art Club
Happiness in Juying Contest, in conjunction with Personal Well-being PASSION (LLP) Month, by JYSC
This contest, a school-wide project by the JYSC, aims to get students articulate what happiness means to them in Juying, and hence, be able to find people/ things in school to be grateful for! More than 100 entries were received!
