Overview
At Juying, we believe leadership is about having the conviction to step forward, the empathy to listen and the purpose to make a difference. The Student Council develops JYians who lead themselves, serve others and contribute positively to the school community.
Through leadership training, collaborative projects and opportunities to exercise student voice, Student Councillors develop communication, teamwork, empathy and problem-solving skills. Guided by our R2IGHT values and 5G dispositions, they learn to take ownership, work with others and turn ideas into action. Through portfolios such as Student Voice, School Pride and Publicity, Councillors are empowered to shape meaningful initiatives for their peers.
More than holding a leadership position, Student Council is a journey of service and growth. JYians learn to lead with conviction, serve with purpose and inspire positive change, building a stronger and more connected Juying community.
