Overview
At Juying, we believe leadership is built through discipline, responsibility and the courage to take on challenges. The National Cadet Corps (NCC) develops JYians into confident and resilient leaders through experiences that strengthen teamwork, character and civic responsibility.
As one of only 17 NCC (Sea) units in Singapore, Juying’s NCC (Sea) offers distinctive opportunities beyond regular training. From kayaking and dragon boating to learning essential survival skills such as knots-tying and their applications, cadets challenge themselves while developing practical skills, perseverance and confidence.
More than mastering drills and skills, NCC (Sea) is a journey of leadership and camaraderie. As cadets progress through the ranks, they learn to lead and support others, overcome challenges together and take responsibility for shared goals, developing the resilience and strength of character to lead with purpose.
