These devices are costly, may cause envy among peers, and are vulnerable to theft. Furthermore, they can be misused if not handled responsibly.
In cases of emergency, parents may contact their child through the school office, or students may use the school office phone to reach their parents. Students who violate these rules will have their devices confiscated until the end of the school day. Repeat offenders will require their parents to attend a conference with the school before collecting their child’s phone. . In addition, the student will be required to sign a Letter of Undertaking to commit to the responsible use of communication devices in school.
