Guidelines on AI Use for Students

Our school’s position on AI use in education is aligned with MOE. At Juying Secondary School, we believe that AI should support learning while students remain active, independent thinkers. Our G.U.A.R.D. approach guides students to generate their own ideas, understand AI’s limitations, critically assess and improve its responses, and disclose their use of AI transparently. Students remain responsible for their work and should follow their teachers’ guidance on when and how AI may be used.

Students will learn about AI, learn to use AI, learn with AI and learn beyond AI, while teachers will use AI purposefully so that students can thrive in an AI world. Our school will put in appropriate guardrails and teacher supervision, especially when AI is used for assessment.
