Overview
At Juying, we believe music brings students together through discipline, passion and a shared pursuit of excellence. The JYSS Symphonic Band (JYSB) nurtures
JYians’ love for music while developing responsibility, resilience and teamwork.
Through regular training, performances and participation in Singapore’s vibrant music scene, members hone their musical skills and broaden their experiences beyond the classroom. As they learn new techniques, overcome challenges and perform together, students develop confidence, perseverance and a deeper appreciation for music. Every rehearsal becomes an opportunity to listen, adapt and contribute towards a common goal.
More than making music, JYSB is a journey of personal and collective growth. United by their commitment to excellence, members learn that every individual has a part to play in creating something greater together, striving for the highest standards as One Band, One Sound!
