Achievers Programme
The Juying Achievers Programme develops high-achieving Secondary 1 to 3 students through activities that build critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
At Juying Secondary School, we believe in stretching students who show potential and also the courage, curiosity and determination to grow. Redesigned in 2026, the Achievers Programme celebrates JYians who demonstrate strong learning mindsets and learning tenacity, guided by our 5G dispositions: Growth-oriented, Gutsy, Grit, Giving and Groundedness.
Through workshops, learning journeys and authentic challenges, students step beyond their comfort zones and discover new strengths. From exploring about the Rule of Law in Singapore, coding with Python, augmented reality, design thinking, engineering and national competitions, students connect learning across disciplines and apply their ideas to real-world contexts.
More importantly, they discover that achievement takes many forms. By persevering through challenges, learning from productive struggles and contributing to others, our Achievers Programme students grow into adaptable and compassionate learners who take ownership of their growth and have the courage to aim higher.
